elayne terry and hayley and reece October 22, 2007

Hi dad, hope you had a great birthday up there, im sure you and

tony were at the bar celebrating, it just seems so strange without

you being here, you missed my 40th, that was a good party, i know you

would have wanted a piece of the cake. The kids really miss you, hayley

leaves school next year, reece has just started to play rugby for a team

i just wish you was still here, a lot of people we dont know send really

nice messages for you, its lovely knowing people care who dont even

know you, maybe they have lost people they really love in their lives

i just think the messages are nice.  Mum really misses you badly, i know

you didnt want to go, no-one wanted you to go.  Anyway i will go now,

time for bed, have work tomorrow, will be thinking of you as i do

every day xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Elayne Terry August 23, 2007

I cant believe it is a year today since you went into hospital, sadly never

to come out. I was hoping you would be here for my 40th party, just

hope you join the party up in heaven, and bring me good health.

Me, mum and Sharon all went away two weeks ago, with the kids,

we had lovely weather, but the rest of the english summer has been rubbish

it just keeps raining and we got flooded the day before we went to portugal.

I know you are still around, i keep dreaming that i know you are dead, but you

are still fighting to live.

Terry and the kids are okay, Hayley leaves school next year to go to college

to study childcare, you would not believe how tall reece is getting, wish you

was here to see all your grandkids.

The stone has been put on your little garden now and i am going to go there

at the weekend to have a look, and we have all got nice things to go with

your little garden.  Anyway better go now, sleep tight dad, miss you lots

i know i will see you again one day xxxxxxx

Our personal message:

Thank you for visiting my Race for Life fundraising page. As most of you will know, I've lost two people close to me through Cancer within the past 2 years, my brother in law Tony in 2005 and my Dad in September 2006 (www.arthur-thompson.last-memories.com). You can imagine how devistated we are as a family but with your help of sponsorship, we can help others that are suffering from Cancer.

This is the first time i'm ever taking part in a race (well since my school days anyway!) and all my family and friends know that im not the sporty kind but im giving it a go anyway!

Events like Race for Life are an important way in which Cancer Research UK is able to fund its life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me now you could help more people survive cancer.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me - Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me, no matter how small the donation, it all helps!

Many thanks for your support. This is in memory of my Dad and Tony Dann, they were both absolutely fantastic blokes!

Mich xx

Hi Dad,

well, we did it! we done the race for life even tho it was pouring with rain. I bet you were watching me and Elayne and having a good laugh at us! Bearing in mind this was the first time i had done something like this, we done the 5km in 1 hour and 5 mins which im pretty proud of! I think i may have caught a bug cos next year im entering into the Moonwalk for Breast Cancer! I managed to raise £160 for Cancer Research this year.

Dad, if you are watching over me, please can you give us a little luck on the house front? It was fun at first being nosey into peoples houses but now? i just want a house!!!!!!

Mich xx
